Science Fair 2002

Welcome to our 3rd Annual Science Fair

Thomas Edison (scientist and inventor) once said,
“We haven’t failed.  We know a thousand things that won’t work, so we are much closer to finding what will.”
He expressed these words after a series of experiments that did not yield a solution.

What an awesome Science Fair!

At West Melbourne School for Science creative talent, skill and scientific thought processes are emphasized every day by every teacher in all grade levels and curriculum areas.  So when it comes time for the Science Fair, competition is high.

This year’s fair was judged by 24 esteemed Judges from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida Institute of Technology, Palm Bay High School research students, Stone Middle School faculty and research students, and Palm Bay Elementary school faculty.

A warm and whole hearted thank you goes to all the individuals who helped orchestrate this awesome science event at West Melbourne School for Science.  As a result of this year’s event, we have created very special partnerships with parents, business leaders, educational leaders and members of our school and community.
